"The Jerusalem 2015 Pitch Point" is celebrating its 10th anniversary at the "Jerusalem Film Festival's 32nd Edition"
Very strong projects were present and were divided into two categories, "Pitch Point Competition" and "Work in Progress".
Two projects were worthy of recognition for their contents and also for their female directors.
YAPIMLAB and Pitch Point Jury separately awarded "In Between", a film directed by Maysaloun Hamoud, produced by Schlomi Elkabetz.
It is about three Palestinian women from different backgrounds and with different views on religion and social life. YAPIMLAB was founded by Zeynep Ozbatur Atakan, who is also the vice president of EWA Network.
The Work In Progress Jury awarded "Sand Storm", a film directed by Elite Zexer and produced by Haim Mecklberg and Estee Yacoc-Mecklberg. It is about Bedouin women living in Negev, Southern Israel, questioning their traditional value and religious beliefs and their struggle to adapt to the modern life present in Israel today.
