The second workshop of “Sisters in Film -MENA” will take place in Morocco, from September 17th to 19th, 2019, in parallel of the Salé Women International Film Festival.
The workshop will revolve around how to build a network and it will be animated by:
Director Alexia Muiños Ruiz, deputy director of European Women Audiovisual Network.
Producer Lamia Chraïbi based in Casablanca (La Prod), cofounder of the Tamayouz Foundation dedicated to support young Moroccan female film professionals to develop their capacities and access to positions of responsibility in the industry.
Sales agent Delphyne Besse based in Paris (Urban Distribution International), cofounder of the Collectif 5050*2020.
Writer, filmmaker and cultural activist Tsitsi Dangarembga based in Harare (Zimbabwe), active member of African women Filmmakers Hub, a Pan-African platform designed to increase African women's production capacity and presence in film.
Lawyer and film professional Lydia Idakula Sobogun based in Lagos (Nigeria), Director of the Film Academy of the Ladima Foundation.
Other industry professionals attending the Salé Women International Film Festival will be invited to share their experience and expertise.
