EWA- DOK Leipzig Development Award in the Circle- Women's Doc accelerator
For the first time in 2019 a new prize will be awarded by EWA Network at DOK Leipzig to one project participating in the CIRCLE: Women's Doc Accelerator The prize is a 1.000 € contribution to the development of a new documentary film as well as mentoring from DOK Leipzig and EWA Network.
This new training initiative for women-professionals in the documentary industry, initiated only two years ago, promotes not only best practices and professional development but forges also new working relationships and collaborations between the participants. The third workshop will take place at DOK Leipzig this year.
The jury will consist of Tamara Tatishvili - the EWA coordinator, Brigid O'Shea - the Head of DOK Industry and Aleksandar Govedarica - co-owner of Syndicado, Canadian world wales agency.
