Teona Mitevska’s film among the 2019 LUX PRIZE selection

Teona Mitevska's film, which premiered in the Berlinale, is a firm contender for the LUX Prize

The Official Selection have just been unveiled at the 54th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.  Ten films will vie for the Lux Prize, an initiative supported  by the European Parliament.

The Man Who Surprised Everyone – Natasha Merkulova and Aleksey Chupov (Russia/Estonia/France)

This year’s selection include a total of four female directors: Teona Strugar Mitevska (EWA member), Tamara Kotevska, Nora Fingscheidt and Natasha Merkulova
