The 3rd Alice Guy Prix honours Mounia Meddour

The event which awards a French Female director and pays homage to the film pioneer Alice Guy-Blaché, will be held at the Max Linder Panorama theatre in Paris on September 10.

Mounia Meddour is a French-Algerian director born in 1978 in Moscow. She is a director and writer, known for Papicha (2019) which premiered in Un Certain Regard, the sidebar section of Festival de Cannes, Hitman (2007) and Edwige (2012).

You can book your seat to attend the ceremony on thursday September the 10th. The prize will be redeemed to Mounia Meddour in the presence of her team at Papicha and the members of the jury:  Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Catherine Corsini, Emmanuel Denizot, Julie Gayet, Jordan Mintzer and Marianne Slot.

The first edition of the prize saw EWA member Lidia Terki win the award for her film Paris la blanche.

In this second edition, the award went to Catherine Corsini with her film Un amour impossible.
