Greater Adria to receive support from Council of Europe’s new Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions

The results of the first call for projects under the Council of Europe’s new Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions have just been announcedand “Greater Adria” is one of the seven high-quality series/international co-productions that have been supported.

Created and written by Nebojša Taraba and Simona Nobile, “Greater Adria” is a compelling and timely contemporary TV series, a geopolitical action thriller that has a large international conspiracy in the background related to the energy future of Europe. The series will be directed by Dalibor Matanić and it is the first ever Croatian-Italian co-production in terms of drama series.

Produced by Croatian independent production company Drugi plan, together with Fabula Pictures (IT), Nadcon Film (DE) and Lunanime (BE).

Croatian broadcaster HRT has already confirmed participation in the project and talks with Italian, German and Belgian broadcasters are coming to an end.

The show will be filmed on locations in Rijeka, on the islands of Krk and Cres, Trieste, Udine and Brussels.
