EWA Network at Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival
EWA’s Director of Strategy, Edel Brosnan, was an invited speaker at a roundtable discussion on European initiatives to promote gender parity in the film industry at the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival on February 6th, 2024.
Lotte Kircher moderated this constructive exchange of ideas, and Edel’s fellow panelists were Rimante Daugelaite, Managing Director at Lithuanian Shorts, and Lise Perottet from Le Lab Femmes du Cinema..
Women in EWA’s message - that gender parity in the screen industries must include gender pay parity - went down encouragingly well with the audience of young filmmakers and creators.
EWA also had a chance to meet current and future EWA members at the Eur♀ Visions stand in the heart of the Short Film Market, alongside our gender-parity friends and allies at Le Collectif 50/50, Le Lab Femmes du Cinema and the Festival International de Films de Femmes of Créteil...
