Ewa member Birgit Stauber awarded Wim Wenders scholarship

On June 2, Birgit Stauber, Berlin based actress / writer / director, was awarded € 25.000 as one of four Wim Wenders Scholarship 2015.

She is writing the screenplay of FREAK CITY in collaboration with director Andreas Kannengießer.  The feature film comedy is based on Kathrin Schrocke's novel FREAK CITY and tells the love story of two 15-year-olds, Mika and Lea, a deaf girl. Birgit and Andreas are both excited and grateful for the scholarship and plan to make an outstanding and entertaining film!
