Dones Visuals directory of Women Filmmakers and Technicians is online
In the context of the international D'A Film Festival, the Association of Catalan Women Filmmakers DONES VISUALS, has finally presented the much anticipated directory of women professionals.
This directory is organized in different positions and fields of expertise, listing a vast number of women working in the audiovisual sector.
This detailed database of professionals ranging from Art Directors, to actors, cultural managers, sound technicians, DoP and camera department, writers to directors and producers is a key tool to follow women's careers and track professionals when producers are looking for a crew.
Very soon the directory will be available in different languages in order to facilitate the search of professionals for international co-productions.
Many filmmakers such as Neús Ballús, Laura Mañá and producers like Valérie Delpierre attended the presentation of the directory. Those who could not make it, as for example SFI CEO Anna Serner, sent a message of support.
