2020 EWA Network Mentoring Programme for Emerging Women Producers
The film mentoring programme is specifically aimed at women producers who already have a relevant experience at the national level and wish to evolve further to a European/international dimension. In most cases this growth also involves a strategic and business development of their company.
EWA Network launched its first mentoring programme in 2018. We are proud to launch now a new edition with the partnership of Thessaloniki's AGORA co-production Market, ODESA Film Market at Odesa International Film Festival, When East Meets West co-production market in Trieste and DOK Leipzig co-production market.

WHY MENTORING?
Mentoring has revealed to be one of the most effective tools to help women grow within closed business environments. Women do not need « more » training, on average they are already well trained, and often better than men, but in industries where networking and personal links are very strong, women need to learn from more experienced professional how to join the club and neutralise gender bias that frequently occur.
WHO IS INVOLVED IN THE PROGRAMME?
EWA Network disposes of a pool of experienced women producers who have a successful track record and a consolidated practice in European/international co-production and business development at large.
