Martina Petrović and Marisella Rossetti, appointed new members of the EWA Network board
The European Women’s Audiovisual Network is delighted to welcome two new board members: Ms Martina Petrović and Ms Marisella Rossetti.
We thank the outgoing members Juliane Schulze and Flaminia Graziadei for their work in these years.
Marisella said: "Cinema portrays reality and mirrors our societies. And we cannot shape a better world and a fairer film environment unless we are together—sharing experiences, growing together, learning from each other. In short, professional and human sisterhood is the reason why I am not only proud, but joyful to be joining EWA. It is by exchanging experiences and knowledge that we can build an impactful perspective of justice for women in cinema. "
Martina said: "I joined the EWA Network Board because I deeply believe in the power of community and connection. Throughout my journey in the film industry, I’ve witnessed how women supporting each other can spark real change — opening doors, nurturing confidence, and turning great ideas into stories that move audiences.
At EWA, I want to help strengthen that sense of solidarity across Europe — creating more opportunities for women to be seen, heard, and valued. Equality in our industry isn’t just a goal; it’s a shared commitment to building a more vibrant, diverse, and human creative space."

Martina Petrović holds a degree in International Relations with a minor in Psychology. She began her career at the Croatian Ministry of Culture, coordinating international cultural exchange and the promotion of Croatian cinema at festivals such as Berlinale and Cannes. Recipient of the first Albert Kapović Award for her contribution to internationalising Croatian film, Martina continues to mentor talent and advise European audiovisual companies through a variety of organisational collaborations and other industry networks.

For twelve years, Marisella Rossetti was project manager of the LUX Prize, the European Parliament's film prize, developing it into the largest audience award jointly presented by the European Parliament and the European Film Academy, of which she is a member.
