EWA Network will be represented by Holly Aylett, Head of Research, at this high level conference on gender issues: “Women in today's European film industry: gender issues. Can we do better?”.
The conference itself is scheduled to take place on Friday 14 August and is being organised under the auspices of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Chair of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministersto and to tie in with the opening of the Sarajevo Festival.
There will also be representatives from Eurimages (Ms Isabel Castro, Deputy Director) and national funds (SFI, NFI, ÖFI, and the Croatian Audiovisual Centre), as well as Beryl Richards from Directors UK. This is a closed event, but upon request some observers may be able to attend.
