To shoot or not to Shoot. Women defying the virus.

EWA talks CHANGE with Anna Bofarull

To support our community and show solidarity with our members, our new initiative, EWA Talks CHANGE proposes a screen-to-screen dialogue with different guests who have had to reinvent own lives and careers to adapt to unavoidable circumstances and embrace new realities.

We will be proudly hosting the director and producer Anna Bofarull after her venturous coming back from shooting her third film, Sinjar, in Iraqi Kurdistan. The film entered production before the WHO could announce the pandemic.

After having attended the Fest Forward Women's Pitch in 2018 and being one of the mentees of the EWA Mentoring Programme for Emerging producers,  Bofarull's Sinjar was selected by Festival de Cannes to participate in the 15th edition of l'Atelier. We can't wait to know the ins and outs of Sinjar's shooting.

Alexia Muiños, EWA Network's Deputy Director will  be facilitating the talk.

We will aim to keep calm in these turbulent times - staying in control of our lives, priorities and future prospects.

These talks are meant for EWA members only. If you're not a member, consider joining us!
