Point of VieW: The role of women in Dutch fiction

EWA Network is proud to take part in the workshop 'Point of VieW. The Role of Women in Dutch Fiction' which is a Dutch initiative to address gender inequality in Dutch media. This initiative started with a series of podcasts and includes ad hoc research into the role of women in Dutch fiction.

Point of View is aimed to striving for change, to gather data and facts for a more equal division and a more realistic representation of women, both in front of and behind the camera.

A number of speakers will be invited to share their experiences and expertise and the first results of the Dutch study will be presented. In the afternoon, different topics will be addressed in smaller groups in break out sessions.
