EWA Network will be co-hosting a panel discussion on the topic "Communities as a Tool for Change".

This panel discussion will examine how professional communities and associations are key for industry change and support mechanism for people working in film and TV industries. In addition, targeted professional mentorship or residency programs by professional networks and communities encourage, motivate and nourish talents and motivates new working cultures in the industry.

The panelists in the discussion are:
- Jenni Koski, executive director of European Women's Audiovisual Network 📽️
- Eva Brazdžionytė, the initiator, co-founder of Women in Film & TV Lithuania (WIFT LT) 🎞️
- Romas Zabarauskas, a filmmaker and member of The Queer Agenda (a network of LGBTQ+ artists, activists and community builders from across the Nordic and Baltic regions) 🏳️‍🌈

- Līga Požarska, a film journalist and mentee from the “Baltic Women in Film Industry Mentorship” program ✍🏻

 

Panel discussion “Communities as a Tool for Change” will be moderated by an EWA Network member as well as Pitch & Public Speaking Coach Bonnie Williams. ☀️
