Alphapanda is a film marketing agency based in Berlin, Warsaw, and Lausanne. Since 2011, they have developed an expertise in all areas of film marketing and social media for a variety of films and projects, from Hollywood blockbusters to indie documentaries, from festival darlings to film-related organisations.
Their team represents eight nationalities and covers a wide range of skills: strategy, campaign management, art direction, copywriting, community management, research, design, video editing, ads management and quantitative analysis. Our clients include NEON – Super, The Match Factory, Warner, Bankside Films, Beta Cinema, LevelK, Charades, Frenetic Films, Curzon, and several independent production, distribution and sales companies.
Valentina Newmann
Valentina joined film marketing agency Alphapanda in 2015, where she is currently Managing Director since 2022. At Alphapanda Valentina leads the team and oversees the company's operations and projects. She’s also in charge of the graphic design department and is a digital marketing expert for international trainings for the film industry.
Joanna Solecka
Film Marketing Strategist, Mentor and Moderator. Works with Alphapanda, an internationalfilm marketing agency based in Berlin, where she specializes in the awards campaigns. Among her recent documentary titles she handled campaigns for were: SMOKE SAUNA SISTERHOOD (European Film Awards Winner ’23), APOLONIA, APOLONIA (Academy Awards ’24 Shortlist), PIANOFORTE (IDA ’23 Nominee), FLEE (European Film Awards Winner ’21), MOTHERLAND (CPH:DOX Winner ’23).
Additionally, Joanna mentors and lectures with film training programs and labs worldwide and supports various international film institutions and film funds in multiple capacities. She is a member of the Advisory Boards of DAE - Documentary Association of Europe as well as of CIRCLE – Women Doc Accelerator.
Head of Alphapanda Warsaw – a Polish division of an international film marketing agency specialized in digital campaigns for film industry where she handles the CEE, US and Scandinavian market. Alphapanda’s clients list includes the European Film Awards, Curzon, Warner Bros, Sooner, Under the Milky Way as well as many European sales agents, distributors and production companies.

Charlotte Voillequin
Born in Troyes, France, and raised in Germany, Charlotte is a versatile multilingual project manager specializing in film marketing. With a background in distribution gained at Farbfilm Verleih, she joined Alphapanda in 2022, bringing her expertise to the team. In her current capacity, Charlotte oversees promotional campaigns for the film industry tailored for both German and French-speaking audiences.
Her impressive portfolio includes collaborations on noteworthy films such as QUO VADIS, AIDA? (Farbfilm Verleih 2020), EISMAYER (Venice '22), WOMAN OF (Venice '23), and PETER DOHERTY: STRANGER IN MY OWN SKIN (Zurich Film Festival '23). Notably, in February 2024, Charlotte was selected to participate in the prestigious programme of Berlinale Talents 2024.
WHAT ARE EWA NETWORK ONLINE HANG-OUTS?
Through an online space where EWA members from all around can connect and know each other, we organise once a month a meeting where an expert introduces a topic followed by Q&A and members can interact. Each meeting will last 75 minutes aprox and it's open to 20-25 EWA members, who can introduce themselves and participate in the following Q&A.
