New platform connecting Women professionals in Europe and Latin America
The Organisation of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI) is pleased to invite you to the launch event of the Women EU-LAC Cinema platform, a digital tool that seeks to promote women in the audiovisual sector in the European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean bi-regional collaboration between women in the audiovisual sector.
This project is an initiative of the Ibero-American Programme for Education in Human Rights, Democracy and Equality of the IEO, with funding from the European Union External Action Service (EEAS), in the framework of the bi-regional EU-LAC Cinema campaign. (www.eeas.europa.eu/eeas/
During the meeting, the Platform will be presented and a dialogue will take place between professionals from the audiovisual sector on joint creation and collaboration between European and Latin American and Caribbean filmmakers, as well as the challenges and opportunities for women.
