Script Award and Feminism Debates at 9th FKM Fantastic Film Festival
EWA Network’s presence at FKM Fantastic Film Festival of La Coruña started with a debate about "Distribution&Financing your shortfilm", with Panama Horror Film Festival crew, EWA Network and reps of Galician Filmmakers Association (CREA) such as director and prof.Olga Osorio and director Javier Camino.
The week was packed with thrilling screenings and original roundtables such as the one held at the Museum, Fundacion Luis Seoane, about "The power of feminism: WonderWoman, Witches and Femmes Fatales" with writer/researcher Elisa McCausland, professor and writer Montserrat Hormigos and EWA Network Dep. Director and filmmaker Alexia Muíños.
We attended the premiere of "Amanece Despejado" by María Vázquez (EWA member), in competition at the FKM.
At the closing ceremony, EWA Network, alongside the Galician Scriptwriters Guild (AGAC) and the Galician Producers Association, (AGAPI), gave the Award for the best Genre Script including a Gender Perspective ex-aequo to "#InfiniteLove" by Sergio Trillo Rama and "Lost Girls" by Carlota Dans and Nico Frasquet.
