Conference to launch EWA’s New Pan-European Study
The EWA Network will launch its new study on the presence of women directors in the European film industry at a conference to be held during the 2016 Berlinale. "Where are the Women Directors in European Film", organised in collaboration with Directors UK, WFTV UK, Pro Quote Regie, FERA, WFTV DE and the FFA, will look at the facts, highlight best practice and make a series of policy recommendations for future action.
Do the study findings confirm the perceived inequality in this area? Are there any surprises? Which measures for action would be most suitable at national and European levels?
