Festival de Malaga: Women, leadership and solidarity

The Festival de Malaga supports women.

As every year, the Festival de Málaga will continue to address women's rights issues (Afirmando los derechos de la Mujer), inviting professionals to discuss leadership, talent and creativity. Save the dates from 26-29 April.

 

“Women, leadership and solidarity”.

On Tuesday 26 April a debate will be held at Teatro Albéniz, the main venue of the festival.

Documentary director Mabel Lozano will moderate a panel made up of:

Flor de Torres Porras. Andalucian Delegate Attorney for the Violencia against Women.

Julia Oliva Rodríguez. Rep of CIMA Andalucía (Women in Film Association)

Gemma del Corral: Council Rep . Culture, Education and Youth Ministry

Carmen Carrera. 3 times Paralimpic Judo Champion.

Isabel Jiménez Lucena. Equality Rectorship Delegate. University of Málaga. Researcher.

 

On Wednesday 27, another panel titled "Being together is worth it",will take place at Museo Thyssen at 17:00 horas. Julia Oliva, actress and CIMA's delegate in Andalucia will be moderating the debate. Actress/DirectorMabel Lozano, producer Esther García, scriptwriter and director Chus Gutiérrez, director Manuel Jiménez, producer Marian Matachana and DOP and director, Delia Márquez will be on the panel.
